Popping with Audeze Reveal+ Plugin 1.1.2 unless upsampling is enabled

I am running the Audeze Reveal+ Plugin v1.1.2 (from Nov 2019) with Audirvana v3.5.2 Win10 and I am am having trouble unless I turn on upsampling - I get clicks and pops (Intel 7700k CPU). While I am getting decent results with upsampling, I should be able to use the plugin without upsampling. Any potential fix?

PS - I have the WASAPI large I/O buffer enabled. Schiit Bifrost 2

Hello @JotBF2,

Are you trying to up sample in DSD?

No I do not have DSD support in my DAC. I am not really interested in upsampling, but I am unable to use VST plugins without clicking and popping unless I enable upsampling (x2 or x4).

Hello @JotBF2,

Are you able to listen to 16/44 music without the plugin activated?

Yes I am able to play 16/44.1 with the plugin disabled.

@JotBF2, Can you send me a copy of the “Debug Info”? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>General>Debug Info

Note: By clicking on the Debug Info Audirvana button automatically copies all its content, all you have to do is paste it in response to this message

Hello @JotBF2, I downloaded the plugin and i also have the pops if i have the Gain at 0.0 dB and above with or without upsampling but you don’t have it if you go under 0.0dB. Can you try to change the Gain with and without upsampling?

Yes I can confirm that lowering the gain to -4.2 seems to have eliminated the popping. FYI lowering the gain to -1.4 was not enough and still had some pops (but was an improvement). Thanks for helping to isolate this problem. I will follow up with Audeze tech support. Thanks!
