Hi.
I know it’s probably not the correct site to ask but has anyone managed to downgrade from High Sierra to El Capitan?
I bought a 2nd hand Mac just for playing music and it had High Sierra on it. I would like to wipe this and put El Capitan on it but I have not been able to see a guide on the web, with some people saying it impossible.
Regards.
You cam create an install USB stick and reinstall.
Hi bittracer.
I downloaded el capitan dmg on my linux system and then put it on a usb stick and moved it to my mac but it said ‘not recognised’ when I tried to open it. Maybe something messed it up in the transfer?
Anyway I am redownloading the dmg directly to my mac. Let’s see if it works.
You need to create a bootable installer for macOS
