Re-installation Mac mini. Would need help

Bonjour à Tous,

I was obliged to reinitialize my Mac mini (2012/catalina).

My biblio was around 78K songs (Synology)

And after having reinstalled Origin, it founds only 33,3K… and then lot albums are missing. Nothing has been changed on the syno.

Someone would have a clue ?

Thanks in advance
Best
Laurent

Hi @laurent92,

Can you send us a copy of the "Debug Info“ when you have this issue? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>My account.

Note: By clicking on the Debug Info button, Audirvana automatically copies all its content. All you have to do is paste it in response to this message

If you click on the Sync button in the Library settings of Audirvāna Origin, do you see the number of album synced increasing?

Unfortunatly no, stays blocked at 33K

Can you go into the Audirvāna settings and in the My Account section? You will see a ‘Start Log Session’ button; click on it and clcik again on the sync button. Once the sync is over, click 'Stop Log Session’ and send me the audirvana_origin.log file you can find by clicking the 'Open Log Folder’ button at support@audirvana.com

Done Antoine. Thanks

Usually the database doesn’t reside there, you had a reason to change its place?

no not really, just to find it easily…

Can you find last album (or song) imported, then look at the next one after… locked file? Buggy song? That could stop the sync…

sincerely I don’t know how to do that

Go in tracks view, look at your group there they are usually imported following your hard drive folders

If you right click the subject bar there you can add or remove thing, add audio file location tab…

Bonjour,
To close this topic, I still don’t know what happened…

But after a few reinstallations of Catalina and Origin, everything started working properly. I’ve got all my tracks back, even those I’d forgotten about before (4K)
Maybe my 2012 mini is starting to show its limitations…

On the other hand, I’d like to underline the Premium support and follow-up, very responsive from the Audirvana team, just like this great software!

Have a great weekend!

Bonjour,

I changed my Mac mini to an M2, and when I installed it, I was horrified: the same problem reappeared…

Ie: I choose a folder and it doesn’t find anything in it.

But when I select all the sub-folders (using the Shift command in the drop-down menu), it scans everything correctly.

So not just the volumes, but all the sub-folders too, and no problem there.

I hope I’ve made myself clear and that this helps :innocent:
Have a nice Sunday!
