Release note Audirvāna Studio 2.4 (2.3.3 & 2.3.4 for reference)

Following 2023-07-31T22:00:00Z ’s update of Studio, here is the change log of the 2.4 version:

MacOS:

  • Local Library Synchronization: Ensures all folders and audio files are synchronized even in rare cases where recent macOS randomly could miss files located on some specific NAS models

  • Playlist editor: Now checks for existing tracks when adding new ones to a playlist. Asks if the user wants to add them all, or only the tracks not already in the playlist

  • Remote: Now shows the ‘Plāys with Audirvāna’ device popup when selecting such a certified device from the remote app

  • Other minor fixes

Windows:

MacOS:

  • Offline mode: Avoid occasional error an hour after having lost the Internet connection

  • DSD to PCM algorithm: Extension of the frequency upper limit, for DACs not compatible with native DSD. They can now play DSD1024 up to their max PCM frequency (e.g. 705.6kHz)

  • Other minor fixes

Windows:

  • Offline mode: Avoid occasional error an hour after having lost the Internet connection
