Trying to get a handle on how the random algorithm on the platform works. I was also wondering if it is impacted by last played count of tracks. Can it be ‘gamed’ by rearranging files on the basis of duration, genre or name to get the ‘randomiser’ to create different random playlists? I get the sense that my playlists, most have 60-400 tracks, are not truly random as some tracks seem to get played more often than others and whether this is because I mess things up by choosing from a handful of the same tracks to ‘start’ the loaded playlist sequence I don’t know?
