Sample Rate Not Changing

Hi, my RME ADI-2 DAC FS is set to 192kHz. My PC is also set to 192kHz. When I play a song in Audirvana that is for example, 44.1kHz, my DAC is still displaying 192kHz. Audirvana is not automatically switching my sample rate dependent on the sample rate of the song that is playing. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

Version: 2.3.0 (20300) and on Wasapi.

Mike

Hi @mdepalma , could you please post up your debug report so that the community can see what your settings are?

Is your dac set to this sample rate only or it is its max?

You can turn off plugin to test if it is it… that bug…

My dac is set to 192kHz. I have the RME MADI interface which allows me to control the sample rate on the dac. Right now it is set to 192.

Just a quick look on my part, you have set everything to upsampling at 192 ?

Can you change to no upsampling?

I turned off the plugin but it still getting upsampled-

Clicking on the cog wheel I am looking at this in the upsampling window. It says it’s deactivated I’m so confused haha-

Thanks for jumping in RHS :+1:t2: Going to dinner in a few minutes.

Only available sample rate?

Something about that

Yeah it doesn’t let me select any other PCM or DSD option. Also everything is greyed out (can’t be changed) in the Dac Input window-

Not upsampling in audirvana, that looks ok,
but your dac is set to 192 only??

can you set it up to nothing, and let the software manage the sample rate :grinning:

Not knowledgeable with your dac and windows, but surely not looking at audirvana fault as i understand that debug,… not even good at reading that, just giving you hints… :grinning:

Like set the DAC to native no internal upsampling. Maybe

soooo sick got it working now, turns out being on Wasapi was the issue. I guess the RME Madi interface only likes to work with ASIO. It’s changing the sample rates automatically.

Thanks guys!
