Scanning Music Stuck

Hi Damien,

Hope you are doing well.

I am having a problem scanning my drives. My music is on a NAS. I am able to scan about 197,000 tracks. However, after that the scan seems to stall. There is no crashing of the program, but the scanning doesn’t seem to move at all.

How might I fix this?

Are you using the MacOS or Windows10 version of Studio?

Hi Damien,

I am using the Mac version. I noticed that audirvana studio seems to make very high demands on the mac while scanning. I have a mac mini M1 with 8 GB RAM and the RAM usage hovers around 80% while scanning.

Can you send us a copy of the “Debug Info” when you have this issue? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>My account
