Sennheiser HDV820 does not support DSD256

Hello there,

In macOS, using the Sennheiser hdv820 in Audirvana can play music in DSD128 format, but not playing DSD256. If use Sennheiser hdv820 in Windows, it can play dsd256 music normally with any music player.

I hope to find a solution for playing DSD256 music using the Audirvana in the Mac with Sennheiser hdv820.

Your DAC would need drivers for OS X for native DSD playback to do DSD256. DSD over PCM requires twice the bandwidth; DSD256 over PCM needs a 768 kHz capable DAC. This is not an Audirvana issue.
