Settings for MX DAC

Connection with external Audio Devices USB DAC

I use a MacMini (late 2014) through an USB cable connected with my Musical Fidelity MX DAC. I am inconclusive whether or not to let Audirvana do the upsampling to DSD128 or to let the DAC do the work. What would you recommend?

If it’s inconclusive, then don’t upsample. You’re just generating more electrical noise and make your computer work harder for no benefit in terms of sound quality (not even perceived).
