Setup for bit-perfect sound

Hello!

I understand that each audio player is configured to sound its best. I imagine this is true for Audirvana+. What settings can I use to disable all features that modify the audio in any way? The application at this point seems to enhance the higher frequencies. I did not discover this until the trial ran out, and I was forced to use the app from Qobuz. I originally thought this was a problem with the specific brand of headphones that I use. Apparently not. I had to apply de-emphasis by using an EQ.

Thank you!

Hello @r010159, the bit-perfect feature is enabled by default when you launch Audirvana. If you haven’t tried yet the upsampling feature in Audirvana you can enable it in your Audio device settings in the upsampling section

Thank you. Will the upsampling make an actual difference in sound? I have a DAC/Amp which is the Apogee Duet for iPad and Mac.

Thank you for taking time from your busy schedule to answer my questions.

Bob

It might adjust it more to your taste. Make it mellower.
