Sorting of Tracks in local folders

how can I get the titles sorted the way they are saved? What setting have I not seen?

Hello @JoSa,

First of all you seems to have an issue with your synchronized folder as the tracks should not be displayed in dark grey.

Can you send us a copy of the “Debug Info” when you have this issue? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>My account

Note: By clicking on the Debug Info button, Audirvana automatically copies all its content, all you have to do is paste it in response to this message

Is this folder from your computer or from an external HDD like a NAS or USB drive?

Hi Antoine,

it is a shared folder on my NAS server in the local network

Is it a Synology drive? How did you connected it to your computer?

it’s a bananaPi (Raspberry) with samba-shares, part of my network with cable connections

It is just the songs are badly tagged… they all have their track number in the name not in the track field… and the first three have no track field number entered…

just select the first put 1 in track out of 11… remove the 01 in the title at the two places and save… do that to the rest. you should be able to select them all at the end and see in the field Out Of… 11 and remove when they all selected, the disc number since their is only one disc…

Having .wav files is not the best for tagging in the first place…

Are you able to play any tracks you have sync with it in Audirvāna Studio?

there are no problems with playback. The order of playback is just not right

i think you’re right. what archiving software do you use?

i tag my songs in Studio just like in my picture.
Wav files and DFF are well knowned for bad tagging and not keeping them

try what i said in my picture and see if it sticks… your songs 2, 7, 11 doesn’t have a Disc number assigned to them, click song 2, put 1 in disc field and save it will go down with other. do the same with 7 and 11. Now they are all together, select them all and remove the 1 for CD number. Sometimes it can be 1 out of 1 CD just check.

Then your songs will be in order just because the have the number in front of their title… That should be corrected too… select all songs, then assigne 11 in the field Out Of of song number. then select number 1 only and change the name by removing 01 in the 2 name fileds, save, put 1 on the track field… do that 10 more times
