Studio not loading tracks?

Hi Folks … any ideas on this one?

Occasionally tracks just wont play on Studio for me. I press play and although the curser moves through the track it stays at 0.00 and I have to restart my mac.

So its Studio I’m using on my Mac Mini which links via USB to a SMSL SU-9 MOA external DAC then via RCA to a Leak 130 Amplifier. Any suggestions would be appreciated, cheers.

This can have lots of reasons.
More information on your system is needed. Please copy Audirvana’s debug info in this thread.

In another thread I saw you use Audirvana Origin and Studio:

  • Does this happen only in Studio or in Origin too?
  • How is your music library connected to Studio and Origin (NAS or external USB hard drive etc)?
  • Do you have this problem with your local library or only with a streaming service like Qobuz or Tidal? In the latter case it can be a connection problem on your (local) network.
  • Does it always happen with the same files?
  • Do you have a stable connection between your Mac and your Music library.

Hi - thanks for replying, Debug info as follows.

It happens in both Studio and Origin.
My library is on an external hard drive connected to my Mac Mini via USB.
Only happens with my own library.
Happens with any file I play. Only a restart of my Mac sorts the issue,

maybe Google Drive is not allowing Audirvana or
Audirvana allowed with external hard drive in macos?
