Studio playing too fast

Don’t know what happened.

I was just listening to one of my Qobuz playlists. Not a real extensive one, about 20 songs. Shuffle mode on. Roller coaster by Danny Vera ends, and then On this Day by Jasper Steverlinck starts being played at 8 or 16 times the normal speed. Although it sounded funny it isn’t really ofcourse.

Does anyone know what could have caused this, amd what one can do to prevent it?

Maybe something to do with the sampling rate, please post your debug report here and describe your system architecture briefly.

My Set Up is as follows:
Old Dell laptop (Windows 10) connected to internet via WiFi, using Audirvãna for streaming Qobuz with UPnP to my Naim ND5 XS 2. ND5 XS 2 has two outputs: one DIN and one digital BNC. The first one I use for playing Qobuz over my Naim Nait1 with Spendor Cassic 4/5 speakers. The second one I use for playing to a Fiio BTA30 Pro that send the signal over bluetooth to my headphones (not ideal, but mainly for convenience so I can wander around…).

Problem occurred when using the second option. Very important is to know that although Audirvãna states that Firewall is enabled, it is NOT!

Can you enable the Inbound traffic and block the outbound traffic in your firewall?

Once it’s done, can you remove the upsampling setting you enabled and then try again to reproduce your behavior?

Hi Antoine, problem is that Audirvãna doesn’t recognize my firewall settings.

Firewall is disabled. And inbound traffic from Audirvãna is allowed.
But Audirvãna still states that Firewall is enabled and inbound traffic is blocked.

I have tried to reproduce it, but to no avail. I will try to send debug info when it happens again.

In the meantime I will disable upsampling and block outbound traffic (although firewall is disabled) :frowning:
