Studio stops playing after each song

Greetings

As a new subscriber to Studio I am having issues needing to advance tracks along after a track stops. I have to continue to hit the next track button. Also the stop/pause button don’t work as it’s grayed out. Let’s not talk about the App not working like it should on my iPad Pro! My goodness!!!

Are these known issues? I’m using a M1 MacMini and a generation removed iPad Pro.

Another issue is my time elapsed indicator does not advance but the music plays.

The software sounds awesome but it’s stuff like this that prevents me from enjoying it.

Are you playing contiguous tracks of an album or random tracks from different albums or playlists? What happens when you play an album of tracks? And are your tracks of different sample-rates?

You should paste your Debug Info so we can see you configurations (Click on “Audirvana Studio” in the menu bar and choose “Debug info…” ) remove any IP data before pasting…

I’m playing whole albums.

Are you using UPnP?

Your “Debug info” will help folks here, understand your configuration

Was just having a problem after updating to 1.13.1 with nothing starting up and then one song would start and audio stops after three seconds.

What I did after a computer restart was sign out of Qobuz and then sign back in.

All seems fine now.

Here is the debug info: Thanks for helping.

Try setting the sample-rate for your system in Audio MIDI setup to 24/384kHz, the Bridge II interface will be the lowest common denominator for your system as it limits shared stream playback sample-rates to 192kHz and I presume the PS Audio DAC remodulates the PCMxxx to DSDxxx… Increase your playback memory buffer to 4Gb and see how this works…

The Panasonic DP-UB9000 Blu-ray player supports 384kHz PCM and up to DSD256… In Audirvana Studio, DSD is going to be output via (DoP1.1) in your DAC settings configuration “DSD over PCM 1.1” …The DP-UB9000 will be throttled to 192kHz PCM playback in this scenario, however DSDxxx will not be throttled…

If you still have problems try setting “Avoid RAW PCM streams” to “YES”

You are pushing the limits of the M1 MacMini RAM allocation with 8GB and running a large buffer for playback… Audirvana will tell you how much buffer ‘time’ is available when you change the buffer memory size… try to use just enough to cover your track requirements…

Edit: (6/20)–

In a shared stream playback where the PS Audio DAC and the Blu-ray player are used simultaneously…The DP-UB9000 will be throttled to 192kHz PCM max sample-rate playback in this scenario (Important: given that you don’t want the Bridge II interface decimating DXDxxx to 192kHz), however DSDxxx will not be throttled … I suggest remodulating all PCM sent to the Blu-ray player to DSDxxx via SoX or R8Brain in Audirvana Studio, when it is the sole DAC being auditioned…

In a soloed auditioning scenario with the PS Audio DAC, you will want to avoid sample-rate decimation (down-conversion) of DXDxxx by the Bridge II interface for best performance… you do want the Bridge II/PS Audio DAC handling the remodulation of PCMxxx to DSDxxx… In this case, you don’t want to send it DSD (DoP1.1) derived from PCMxxx remodulated by SoX or R8Brain, unless in a simultaneously shared stream scenario where you want the Blu-ray player playing the remodulated PCMxxx/DXDxxx to DSDxxx.
