Hi, I did so, but still the same result. To be clear: the optimizer is started but could not do everything I asked, see below…
It seems to be an other problem, I think…and not visible in the screen in green…
when music is stopped, system optimizer: ready
can you see the preferences when clicking on the gear wheel?
There is no green icon now on Studio just ON in the preferences when music is playing…
It is saying: ‘ready’, not ‘on’ as on your screen, and see below…
So, its ready in my situation, but I can’t get it to an 'on" situation.
The initialization seems to fail…
Sorry, at first it’s telling me: ‘ready’ and then it’s ‘on’, when I hit the play button.
But it is still giving this message after a click on 'Restart all selected services now":
So, it’s working but not completely/properly, in my opinion.
I guess it is Damien’s cup to tea now.
The error doesn’t appear if you don’t activate the ‘Disable Time Machine’ option and then ‘Restart all selected services now’, I noticed. 
Hope this was helpful for Damien to put his light on this error, caused by Time Machine. Hopefully he can solve this in an update.
But far more important: how about my stuttering problem; is there any progress made?
