Sudden new issue with playing radio stations

I’ve been happily playing radio stations via AS to a Marantz PM7000n for months. Suddenly this morning, all I get is static. I’ve tried playing a variety of stations and they’re all the same. I have no idea why this has suddenly started. I’m using a M2 Pro Mac mini with the current version of AS. Debug info:

Really? Seems a bit much to sort an issue with one app that’s been flawless lately. Nothing has changed on my network. Exactly the same now as it was before this happened.

Playing back files stored on a PC and NAS

This unit is compatible with MP3 ID3-Tag (Ver. 2) standard.

This unit is compatible with WMA META tags.

If the image size (pixels) of an album artwork exceeds 500 × 500 (WMA/MP3/WAV/FLAC) or 349 × 349 (MPEG-4 AAC), then music may not be played back properly.

A server or server software compatible with distribution in the corresponding formats is required to play music files via a network

For playing mentioned audio formats via a network a server software, for example Twonky Media Server or jRiver Media Server, needs to be installed on your computer or NAS for full support. There are other server software available too. Please check supported formats.

It’s a radio stream that I’m having the issue with. The same stream at the same bit rate I’ve been listening to on a daily basis for months.
Specifically a mp3 stream at 44.1 kHz and 128 kbps

You are transmitting these signals via UPnP… Two things could be at play… The first is, the network handshake has been interrupted and second is, the file type does not conform to the supported UPnP protocol format:

Thanks. So assuming the file type DOES conform to the supported UPnP protocol (as it’s been streaming without issue at exactly the same rate for months), how do I re-establish the handshake? I can stream everything else fine. Just radio station streams are impacted.

I’ve just fixed it by turning on the “Do not use RAW PCM (only for devices with issues)” setting.

I don’t have 24 bit files locally but can stream such files from Tidal without issue.
