First, playback via my recent purchase of Audirvana Origin on Windows is a real improvement in quality. But alas the following spoils the fun for now.
When accessing an external 6Tb harddisk with all audiofiles sync keeps going. Even though the sync at startup is disabled. In another thread, the issue is associated with errors in files. Yes, there are files with errors which should be addressed later on. But it should not make Audirvana as slow as it is now with the external harddisk attached.
For now I have two questions
a. Apparently, Audirvana is not yet able to dump albums / files with an error into a separate section. This would be a nice feature. Question: can someone point me to a software programm that can trace erronous albums / files?
b. The second question is whether a software tool exists to fix erronous albums / files in an efficient way.
NB. in this thread I have already asked whether the issue has been solved by now:
Thanks for the suggestion. After three full days of 24 hours of starting Audirvana each day, it was about the limit of patience. For fixing errors, on the internet the app MusicBrainz Picard was now found. As EAC also used the app when activated, many of my digitalized albums should be ok.
It will only really help when someone hopefully soon would say: “yes, the on/off button of synchronizing did not work indeed, but it is fixed now.” Anyone?
Can you go into the Audirvāna settings and in the My Account section? You will see a ‘'Open Log Folder’ button. Please clcik on it and send me audirvana_origin.log file at [email protected].
