Just a thought
Unfortunately I am not in a position to keep AS running 24/7 so I restart AS every time I start the PC (Google South Africa Electricity Supply !!)
Once I have sync’ed my file library initially , which takes a while for 130k tracks, does AS “Rescan folders for changes on startup” by “Difference” ie adding only new files . It seems to do a full re-sync at each startup which hogs the computer and never seems to stop running before I have to shut down again.
Is there a way to “watch” a folder for changes without doing a full resync. Adding one album for example seems to need a full re-sync . Am I being dumb ?
I appreciate the initial sync also does the Audio Analysis which I understand is a once off exercise but that seems to be a separate process after syncing.
