I use another app for ripping/downloading/cataloguing my music. With AO, every time I make a small change to the metadata in this app (e.g. ‘Rating’), AO syncs the change immediately and the change shows up in my AO library. However, with AS, syncing stops around the 95% mark and just hangs. Something is really hanging at this point because AS won’t close (top right red button), so I have to close it from the Windows taskbar. Then, it takes a while before it can he opened again.

Can you send us a copy of the "Debug Info“ when you have this issue? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>My account.

I have just reinstalled AS, and the same thing is still happening.
Do you have all the tracks in this folder synced?
All 11 tracks copied over from JRMC and show up in AS. Interesting you should mention this album…I think the problem started when I made a change to its tag (‘Rating’ change). That’s when I first saw AS hang.
I deleted R:\Music\Jaco Pastorius - Jaco Pastorius (2022) FLAC just in case, Plus, I reinstalled AS, but AS still ‘hangs’ (meaning: it functions and plays music, but the syncing freezes) when I make changes to tags in JRMC:
in the image it is syncking The Brecker Brothers album… maybe Audirvana doesn’t like that apostrophe in the title…
Well, it was happening before I added this album to AS, so I don’t think it’s the apostrophe
UPDATE: Stitched back over to AO, and this problem does not occur there, so it’s something going on with AS only.
Can you go into the Audirvāna settings and in the My Account section? You will see a ‘Start Log Session’ button; click on it and reproduce your issue. After you reproduce it, click 'Stop Log Session’ and send me the audirvana_studio.log file at [email protected], which you can find by clicking the 'Open Log Folder’ button.
