@karipu , could you post a screenshot of one of your album folders so we can see what it contains?
Do you have cue sheets in all of them?

What is the location of these files? You can probably see that in the track info.

Could it be that Audirvāna ‘thinks’ that the same albums are on multiple devices?

Where does this enormous appetite for bugs come from? So far it has mainly been settings.

Files are located at external USB hard drive that is connected to my iMac.

What I was curious to see is what the album folder looks like.

I would only point to the music folder on your external usb drive, you may need to trash your SQLite file to get it sorted out but I’m not positive on that.

Can you play the tracks from all three albums? And all albums have all tracks?

I’m curious if Audirvana shows the location in the track information. If the external drive is renamed every time the operating system is reconnected, and If Audirvana recognizes a new album every time.

That would be a problem that could be solved by the dev team.

I use external usb ssd drives on my MacBook and Mini and don’t have any issues, but I point directly to the music folder on the external drive only.

I would remove these in Audirvāna settings then close Audirvāna and………

I would trash this folder, it will be recreated when you restart Audirvāna, add only the folder on your external usb drive that contains your albums.

@Jacob would you agree with my thinking on this?

That seems to make sense to me. I have never had any major problems with databases or libraries. always on the same Mac mini with the same NAS. But what you say sounds good.

@RunHomeSlow he is more experienced with this. If you search, you can find his explanation of how to make an Audirvana installation like new again.

The @OffRode solution is good 3 comments above… the thing that is bad when you trash the database is you lose your play counts on music files and the major bug of year 1970 and under will have to be tag again if i remember well… if you didn’t have backup up your playlists and favorites before to restore them, those will be lost also.

The bug usually seen when people having doubles is when you look at the path in file location in Audirvana, it show that the are double files, but one of each cannot be played, the path was change to a /volume or volume/ before the file for whatever reason (change of disc?, badly remove?), and that each files of doubles cannot be played or trash since it doesn’t exist… you have to redo the database.

For @karipu, not clear for me if your music Documents ‘Uudert’ is your music folder from computer
and the other Musiikki is the music folder that you made… like on a Mac Music folder from Apple can double your music that you made if you don’t change that prefs in Apple Music… so, in that instance, it would not been the Audirvana fault…
