Tidal integration with local albums

Hello all,

I recently had to delete my library and start the whole thing from scratch. I am also subscribed to Tidal and I used to be able to get a whole load of album iformation from Tidal appearing in the header section. I also used to have the option of listening to the Tidal version.

This is no longer available to me, even with a rescan of my library and rebuilding databases etc.

I have disconnected and reconnected my Tidal account.

The music is all stored on a removeable SSD (But it hasn’t been removed!) I am using the latest version of both Studio and Mac OSX as my operating system.

Can you suggest any work arounds that I can used to get that functionality back?

Can you give me an example of an album you have an issue with?

To be honest, none of the albums I have in my local library have any of the information (e.g. album review) that appears on Tidal that did before.
e.g. Jennifer Lopez - On the 6 (available in Max quality on Tidal)
The original source of the album was from a CD I bought many years ago and ripped via Apple Music.

Strange tho, can you send me one of those tracks at support@audirvana.com so I can check if I get the same behavior?

I have the same issue since November 2023 still no suggestion yet to get that functionality.

@Antoine so I’ve installed Audirvāna (latest version onto a windows laptop using the same internet connection as my Macbook. It also doesn’t have Tidal integration with my local albums. I think it’s because I am using a VPN on the router as I am based in a country with very limited access to the world wide internet due to a firewall. I can access Tidal without a VPN, but I cannot use Audirvāna without the VPN being active - it loses all the streaming functionality. I think I am just going to use it as it is for now - maybe it can be something you can look at for the future? Thanks!
