TIDAL library sync

My Audirvāna studio does not sync with my Tidal library. For instance, when I favourite an album in Tidal, and then look forward to listen to it on my hifi when I get home, Audirvāna does not have it under its display of ‘My music’ in Tidal.

Just a suggestion, maybe you could try if logging out of Tidal in AS, and the logging back in solves the issue (if you haven’t tried that already…).

Hi @Even,

When you do such a thing, do you have Audirvāna Studio opened at the same time as TIDAL? If so, can you please restart Audirvāna Studio?

Thanks for your swift response!
Yes, another Tidal app/client is almost always open, and some times several at the same time: On my phone, I listen to Tidal almost all the time, and closing apps after each listen is not really a thing on the fly; And sometimes I listen at work, and I would be disappointed if AS needed me to remember to close the Tidal app before I leave work. I was expecting AS to sync against some central Tidal API, and not be dependent on the status of Tidal clients on my devices. I have checked the response within the Tidal system, and their web-player updates immediately what I do on my phone.
I will try your suggestion tonight, hoping that it is for a one time fix. Cheers. Even

The way we sync the favorites from TIDAL and our others streaming partners need to be improved. It’s something we are looking for in a future update of the app.

That sounds great! Just to describe my setup fully. I am running AS on a headless Mac Mini in a cupboard next to my DAC and Hifi. One of the main reasons for going with AS is the possibility to control all music-streaming with the remote app. This works brilliantly with AS, but it means that users like me depend on AS running and syncing without having to interact with the Mac.
Thanks again for your response!
