Tidal MQA white noise when playing with Audirvana 3.5.29, ok with ROON / CARY APP

I am trying the audirvana 3.5.29. Cary Audio DMS-600 is discovered as DLNA device. The Tidal MQA playback was only correct 20-40 seconds when I using Audirvana. After 20-40 seconds, the white noise was coming, no any music. Absolutely no problem with ROON and Cary app. I use Tidal MQA everyday. It seems I can only choose the others. The other formats are no problem, I tried APE, FLAC,DSD,ISO.

Hello. I have Audirvana 3.5.41 installed on my office and my home mac. Same version both. On my mac at home Tidal files with MQA produce horrible distortion with very loud white noise. Does not happen at the office! At home I have two systems connected to the mac. A desktop system with Bursons virtuoso v2 +. The floor system with IFI pro idsd. With both dic it makes the same noise. Only with MQA files. I need help please.

Cary Audio DMS-600 needs to be set to MQA decoder, make sure it’s selected in the settings.

Burson Virtuoso needs to be set to “Non MQA” and iFi to “MQA Renderer” (not 100% sure about the iFi so check the manual).

To disable upsampling you need to go in your audio output setting under Upsampling section:

Make sure the exclusive access is on. Make the pre-load cache smaller. Set it to 2000MB.
