Trying Audirvana again - can't get it to sync with itunes/apple music

Hi, been using Roon but wanted to try Audirvana.
I’m a little worried it’s playback quality won’t be as great over airplay (to my OpticalRendu) as roon is using the roon RAAT protocol, but thought I’d try.
Moved the old audirvana library out of the way, so fresh install.
I try the “synchronize” button to add itunes music, but nothing happens after I press it.
How do I debug? Thanks.
MacOS 11.6, big iMac with plenty of resources
186,000 tracks in apple music…

Hmm, when I got to my music → albums it only shows 59 albums
But when I go to local → Albums it’s thousands and increasing. So it is syncing with itunes, but not sure why the albums are showing up in my music…

My Music are your favorites over all sources. So from local and streaming services. The name is a bit confusing, but the function is useful.

Hello @pbgalvin,

If you want to see all of your content of Music, you will need to open the playlist manager:

or click on My Playlist:

Thanks, have all that sorted. Although why there are a bunch of albums in my music eludes me.
New problem though is that none of my itunes/apple music playlists seem to be imported into audirvana. Is there something I need to do?

You should see them under Music in Studio, is it the case? Are those playlists have been created in iTunes?

I don’t see that section?
I see some playlists under my music → playlists but I’m missing a lot.
I have a bunch under “PPP” in itunes - “PPP-Alt” for example. PPP is showing up but not the ones under the PPP section like PPP-Alt

The picture I sent to you was while I opened the playlist manager:

Ah there they are! Thanks.
