“Unable to open an audio file for playback”

Origin 2.3.0
Mac OS 12.6.5

Tried removing and replacing files to no avail.
Tried restarting app and restarting machine to no avail.
Made sure the files in question were associated with Origin in the file system.

Any ideas?

I have the same problem, but it happens to me in both Audirvana and Origin, the same files are no longer recognized. The funny thing is that those same files are played by other applications like Vox, iTunes, etc. I hope someone has a solution friend. Greetings

Found the problem. For whatever reason, Audirvana didn’t like that the folder name had an umlaut in it. When I renamed the folder, everything is fine.

Valid workaround indeed :relaxed:
