Windows 10 - my entire library is showing off line. Thanks in advance for the help correcting this.

Hello @philbondi,

Can you send us a copy of the “Debug Info” when you have this issue? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>My account

Note: By clicking on the Debug Info button, Audirvana automatically copies all its content, all you have to do is paste it in response to this message

Hello Antoine. Thank you for the reply. I was able to get most of the library to download. There are some albums in my drive that are not synced to Audirvana. In Local, I see the G: drive where the audio files are located, but I can not get them to be read, or downloaded/synced. That is my problem at the moment, and I hope you can help me with that. Thank you.

Are they from a Google Drive?

Hi Antoine. Yes they are. I am beginning to think I am not worthy of owning a subscription. I’ve had my share of problems, and it’s probably because I’m an old man with an ear for refinement who doesn’t seem to know how to handle this software.

Make your life easier and download the files locally. You can still use Google Drive for backup if you want, but make sure the content is available locally.

Hello Bitracer. Thank you for taking the time to respond. Please explain locally. What makes a Google drive any less local than a C drive which, by the way, is no where near large enough for my music files. Thanks,

Get a larger external drive. That’s your best option. Audirvana is not designed to work with cloud services.

@philbondi , Phil how large is your local music collection. @bitracer is very correct in saying local should be local literally . Mine fits nicely on a Samsung T7 2tb external ssd luckily, convenient and easy portable. I also have a synology nas as security as well as another backup.

Hello OffRode. I just checked and it’s 417G. The thing is up until this recent weirdness with the software, it ran flawlessly. I will make a purchase for additional storage. Thanks.

The music on your Google Drive is not on your computer, but somewhere far away in the world in the cloud. Maybe it looks like it is local to you but it is not. Every time you want to play a song from your Google drive your computer has to make contact via the internet to some computer far away and download/stream it to your computer to play. This can lead to many problems (no connection, stutter, bad sound quality etc.). If you place all your music on a drive directly connected to your computer you won’t have that problem.

Putting the music on your internal (C:) drive is also a bad idea, because your Operating System (Windows) is also on that drive. If your computer fails you will possibly loose all the data (music) on your C: drive.

The best solution I would recommend is to buy an external USB drive, connect it to your computer and place all your music there and keep the music also on Google drive as a backup. A normal mechanical USB drive (4 or 6 Terrabytes) will cost you around 100,- Euro’s.

Or 1TB external SSD.
