Volume Control with the Chord Mojo

I can’t seems to turn on volume control with my Chord Mojo. I know it works normally without Audirvana, but with it, the volume is set to 100% max, and I could only control it via the amp/dac itself. Is it suppose to be this way? Even the windows volume control doesn’t do anything. The software volume control setting won’t let me toggle it on at all. Anyway to enable it? Debug logs below.

I’m close to buying this software, the only problem is the Volume Control and the lack of Spotify for it to be a really killer app atm.

I also noticed that I have a lot of songs favorited with the heart symbol. But it isn’t showing anywhere, not on the favorite section at least, rather empty there. Notice another problem when I try to repeat the whole album with Tidal streaming, it just stop and won’t repeat even with the repeat button on.

Hello @wanabrar, the Chrod Mojo do not let software volume control because it does ahve this feature integrated, are you using the latest version of the firmware?

For your Favorites, are you talking about favorites form Tidal? If it’s the case you will find it in “My Music” section under Tidal.

So you mean to just control the volume via the Chord Mojo? Because I was just wondering if it could do that on the software side as well, that’s all. Chord Mojo latest firmware? If so there is only a firmware update for the Poly if not mistaken.

Oh thank you yes. Tidal’s fav. Found it, thought it’s just missing. Any idea why when you try to repeat a Tidal artist album, it would just stop playing instead of repeating them tho?

You can do it when you enable software volume control in Audirvana. You need to stop your audio in Audirvana to change this settings in the audio output in Audirvana.

For your second question can you make a screenshot of Audirvana while you have this issue?

Ah that fixed the volume control. I thought it just wasn’t configurable. Maybe include a caution that you can only tinker with it if there is no playback, just like the audio output selection. The 2nd issue I had seems to be solved now, sorry about that.

  1. A few pre-sale question if you don’t mind. Is there ever going to be a Spotify streaming support for it, just like Tidal. I would be perfect if it has both, considering Tidal lacks music libraries, and Spotify just offer more.
  2. Any chance there will be a better UI improvements in the future? Atm I really love the software, but the UI could do better.
  3. Is it one time license? Once I pay for the software, is the future update free? Or do I need to pay more? Thanks

We are focused on Hi-Res streaming platform so for the moment we do not plan to integrate Spotify to Audirvana.

We had several feedback about it and we are working on it, that’s the only thing we can say so far.

This is a one time license for the update your have. This means when we release a next major update you will have the choice to either purchase it at a reduced price or stick to the version you have. Note that we will not block your license key after the release of the major update, you will still have the possibility to use your version of Audirvana.
