What are correct settings for Musical Fidelity V-DAC 2 (24/96)

Hi, I hope for an answer here.
I have no whatsoever knowledge about the technical details of digital music. I have no idea what upsampling, bitrate, signal polarity and SoX filter mean.

I did read some of the manual on line, also googled for some technicat terms. But did not get any wiser.

But still I would like to optimise Audacity (I bought the app to replace iTunes). It would take me too much time to play with the settings because I have no idea what I do.
Could some expert please tell me (just tell, please do not try to teach me) how I should have my settings.
I write here what I see now:
The DAC is a Musical Fidelity V-DAC 2 24/96
supported PCM rates 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96
Supported DSD rates DSD not supported
Auto-detect MQA devices: WHAT DO I DO HERE?
DAC not detected as MQA use as: WHAT DO I DO HERE?
NATIVE DSD streaming method: WHAT DO I DO HERE?
convert DSD to PCM with boost of: WHAT DO I DO HERE?

then:
Signal Polarity
Invert globally: WHAT DO I DO HERE?
Invert for track with Invertpolarity comment: WHAT DO I DO HERE? ON or OFF?

I have set Forced upsampling typ to: ‘Device maximum frequency’. IS THAT OK?

And then I see settings for 'SoX filter (no idea what that is)
How should these settings be?

I am really very grateful for an answer, thank you for taking the time!

best regards
HL

auto detect mqa set at off
set to not mqa
dsd streaming: none convert to pcm since it can’t play dsd

Invert globally: WHAT DO I DO HERE? OFF
Invert for track with Invertpolarity comment: WHAT DO I DO HERE? ON or OFF? ON

put upsampling at off if you want bit perfect
if you put it at on, select power of two… is better then max.
but then you,ll have to play with the sliders if you want to reach best sound for you…
if you don’t know… stay upsampling at off… bit perfect playing

Thank you very much, RunHomeSlow!
