So… here’s my setup Rouge Sphnx V2 with Magnepan LRS & Rel T5/I , Schiit Modi 3 & a Macbook pro as my primary music player using USB. My question is how can i use my Macbook without connecting USB while playing music on Audirvana? I know I can use the remote on my phone which I use. But sometimes I still wanna move around with my Laptop. Should I go buy a bluetooth transmitter or those streamers?
Anything Bluetooth will be unreliable depending on proximity and will limit the resolution of playback… WiFi will also present playback reliability and resolution concerns… Ethernet to USB will be the most reliable means to move around with a good degree of confidence…
There are many threads on the subject of streaming interfaces, etc, here on the forum…
