White noise when playing a radio with a 3DLab via UPnP

Hello,
I am using a 3DLab transport nano V5 streamer which works very well for playing music from Quobuz.
Firmware version UpToDate: 2022-06-29

However, I have a few problems when I am playing radio stations.
For example: Radio Paradise’s Mellow with these formats:

  • Flac. 44100 HZ stereo. 1411 kb/s
  • aac. 44100 Hz. stereo. 320 kb/s
  • mp3.44100 Hz. stern 320 kb/s

The radio plays for a few seconds, then the music is replaced by white noise.
The higher the quality, the faster the problem.

Hello @Antoine, I understand you have a 3DLab stremer at Audirvana! Could you try to reproduce the issue?
Thank you

Hi!

I have same issue. Renderer is Moode upmpdcli, when i’m playing 192khz tracks from Tidal and local i have also noise. About 5 second playing music and then noise comes in instead of music.

Hi again!

Issue was caused by the set of static ip of PC. I change to DHCP and it starts working without interruptions.

But it’s strange why the hell static ip causing such a problems, when it gets subnet mask, gateway and DNS as when i’m enter it manually. I only change ipv4 address to 192.168.0.74 and it’s outside of router dhcp pool.

The issue is also when i’m map static ip via mac for PC in router settings.

Hi, this IP story is really very strange. Maybe you had a IP conflict on the network.

I check every device and i don’t have ip conflict. DHCP i have from 192.168.0.5 to 192.168.0.49.

Do you have a 3DLab nano transport or player?

Today i was play 3 songs in 192khz and 30 seconds before end of third song noise was comes in. I lost hope.

@HTox

No, Audirvana is on PC, and renderer is Moode audio on Rpi 4, DAC is FiiO K5 Pro.

Do you get the same behavior with version 2.10 of Audirvāna Studio?

Hi @Antoine,
I’ve installed the last version.
With this version, I no longer get white noise. Good news.
Unfortunately, now, I have some playing interruption with this same radio.

but, no effect.

Do you want a new debug info or log which could help you?

Yes, please
