For 16/44.1kHz tracks is upsampling recommended? I have seen that some users recommend to have it disabled.

It depends on the DAC as some DAC want to handle upsampling internally and not by third party software. You can first try with “Power of 2” and you can even go to “DSD” to try it out.

Is it possible to have upsampling activated but not affecting the MQA tracks?

MQA track will not be affected by upsampling so you can keep the setting enabled. We do not let upsampling for MQA as it would break the MQA audio flow.

If you’re playing MQA files, none. For the rest, it’s a question of personal taste. I don’t upsample.

General consensus based the theory is to upsample by multiples of 2. Others prefer the max sampling rate of the DAC.
