Albums split in two folders

Hi @paulvz,

Can you send a copy of the “Debug Info” when you have this issue? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>My account

Note: By clicking on the Debug Info button, Audirvana automatically copies all its content, all you have to do is paste it in response to this message

Sure, here’s what I got:

Audirvana Origin 2.4.0 (20400)

Hi @paulvz, can please test the sync of folder instead of the iTunes sync? I would like to check if you still experience this split issue when you are only syncing using the folder.

I’m syncing now (after renaming the database) and so far things are looking better, but I do notice that artist names beginning with “The” and similar articles are now sorting based on the first letter of their name, rather than the first non-article letter (so “The Beatles” are now buried deep in my library, rather than showing up in the “B” section). I’m assuming this is related to metadata, and some Apple Music metadata was specifying “Beatles, The” for sorting. Where would I change this for Audirvana. I looked into the General data and see the artist name listed as “The Beatles” - is this where I would edit, or is there another more global location?

Actually, I think I just found the spot by going into Artists view and looking at what I assume is meta data for the artist. Updating the “Sort as” field now…

Follow up:
I have had no problems since I switched from using my iTunes / Music library to using an Audirvana Local Library, with some added benefits as well (near immediate updates when I change things in Apple Music for example).

many thanks for the help!
paul
