Audirvana 3.5.37 all tracks greyed out

Not only tracks that are not available, but all the tracks are greyed out.
(Tracks on an external HD, synced via iTunes library)

The messed up album display vie when opening Audirvana remains.

Are they Apple music locked files?

Hello @tristan_deluxe, can you restart Audirvana?

OK, after deleting and reimporting the library the tracks aren’t greyed out anymore.

Thank you!

from today after the update audirvana (windows) often freezes, killing the program and restarting it freezes on this screen

Hello @Paolosnz,

Can you send me a copy of the “Debug Info”? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>General>Debug Info

Note: By clicking on the Debug Info button, Audirvana automatically copies all its content, all you have to do is paste it in response to this message

I have this same problem Damien. No way back to desktop unless you kill Audirvana in running tasks.

Close to the same problem, my tracks are randomly greyed out but still playable. When I remove library they are back to normal, but once I restart they go grey again. Very weird and kinda a non-issue with playability but it annoys my OCD.

After upgrading to 3.5.37 all tracks are greyed out. I have restarted Audirvana without success. The files are on my hard drive. They still play thru my DAC. I have a Mac mini running macOS Catalina, latest version. Help would be appreciated.

You have the same set up as me, mac mini, latest version Catalina, and DAC. Tracks greyed out but playable. If I remove the library and re import it, I get the tracks back until I restart.

Hello everyone,

for people on MacOS, Can you go in your Disk Utility app in your MacOS and make a screenshot of it when you select your device? If you are using a NAS, are you using AFP or SMB to connect to it?

Not sure if this gives you a clue to the glitch. Although my entire library, apart from a random handful, is greyed out when I select it if I go to my ‘smart playlists’ the first 5 to 15 tracks display correctly (white out).
There seems to be no logic to the tracks chosen as half an album, downloaded complete in one session, is white out and the rest greyed out.

Everything is far easier to read in ‘light mode’ but the typestyle difference, as mentioned above, still remains, so it’s not just a ‘dark mode’ issue.
My Disk Utility page looks like the one Paul7 sent, but without external drives.
Additional…
If I roll my cursor over a greyed out track a message appears after a few seconds stating that the chosen track is not streamable and will not play (I don’t stream, all my tracks are lossless files in iTunes synched to Audirvana).
The odd random tracks that display correctly in library (about 4 out of 4,000) do not get this pop up message.
It looks like downloaded tracks are being mis-identified as though they are in a streaming library and are being greyed out as ‘not accessible’ - although they really are - if you see what I mean.

Here is the message.

does your file are stored in your G-Drive? if it’s the case I would like to have a screenshot of it in the disk utility.

Thanks SadPsycho,
As a footnote all my tracks are either rips, iTunes, but mostly CD lossless downloads from Qobuz.
I don’t have a streaming account with anyone so these greyed out tracks all exist on my hard drive/backup drive - but the system THINKS I’m trying to stream them; but they play anyway. ?!*

Also can’t explain why a single track in a downloaded album is displaying OK and the rest get the grey treatment. No logic to this.

My file is on the internal disk. The G-drive is for backups only. My files are CD lossless rips or from HDtracks.

Hi, I’ve got similar problems. Since the update (about 2 days ago), a lot of my albums (>50%) have duplicate tracks in white and grey. But they both play so each track is played twice which is quite annoying. Re-importing only works until restart and then duplicate tracks appear again.
I’m using a Mac with OS Mojave, music files are stored on an external drive connected to my Mac.

I would step back to an earlier version that does not have this problem if the file was available. I don’t use streaming services.
