Just another couple of data points, I’m using the Mac version of Audirvana and the problem occurs both directly to the Mac speakers and over DLNA.

For testing purposes, if you select this output, are you able to play BBC radio?
Afraid not.
I get a message flash up at the bottom of the screen saying “Loading first track” but nothing plays. The play/pause and skip forward and back buttons are grayed out as is the volume control on the Mac, and I can’t select any other music so have to close and restart Audirvana
Release 2.8 has not fixed this.
Very oddly, it’s now working.
Maybe it’s related to the activation of HLS streams to our account. Please let me know if you still get your issue after today.
Thanks Antoine, it seems to choose the highest quality stream which is great.
One query: the Audirvana display shows the protocol, bit rate etc, but not the “now playing” information on these BBC streams, but does for other stations. This may be because the BBC doesn’t send it on these streams, or in a different place. One other programme I have doesn’t show this information for HLS streams either.
This is the next thing we will add to Audirvāna Studio, we wanted to release HLS compatibility before looking at the “now playing” information sent by the radios
