there is a bug recently appearing for me on the latest update or the one before??
just at the end of a song you can see after the time remaining, a line appearing ‘loading next song’? for a second… It happen at every song even if you put cursor to finish the song before it finish… Origin latest, Sonoma latest.

Maybe Origin specific as I am not seeing this behaviour with Studio 2.6.2 and Sonoma 14.1.2 on a 16” M3 Max MBP.
Update:
This does occur on Studio, in my case once every 10 tracks or so I see a flash where the playback bar extends out to the right for a fraction of a second. You have to stare at the bar to see it as it is there and gone in an instant

Ok, if you can reproduce this easily, can you try to open Audirvāna Studio using Terminal and reproduce the issue? You can find it under the Utilities folder in the Application.
We recommend you copy and paste each line one at a time and press return each time you paste a line:
cd ..
cd ..
Applications/Audirvana\ Studio.app/Contents/MacOS/Audirvana\ Studio
After doing this, this will open Audirvāna, you then need to reproduce your issue and send us all of the information you see in the Terminal in a TextEdit file at support@audirvana.com.

You only have to copy and paste what is shown, not what is empty

Update:
I have noticed on AS 2.6.3 this only occurs for me with DSD files, for instance I played 3 movements of Bach this morning. The first two showed the waveform view, when the third track loaded the waveform view disappeared. The next track in the play queue was a 24/192 PCM track and this displayed the waveform view fine. Seems to only happen with longer DSD pieces (larger file sizes)
I also notice @RunHomeSlow original post was playing a DSD track…,. connected?

May well be, I think everyone in this post is a Mac User, quite possibly also running Sonoma. I know they updated the graphics code of Metal 3 to take advantage of newer features available in the M3 GPU’s in Sonoma. Maybe an incompatibility with Audirvana… time will tell when Damian and the team find the cause.
I think it was something related to the beta version of MacOS. I talked about the progress bar behavior with Damien yesterday and he thinks it would be related to a macOS bug but I need to do more throughout the test on my side to try reproducing the issue.
Two updates have been released, and this annoying bug has not been fixed.
If the album starts playing from the penultimate track, then it does not finish playing until the end for two seconds and the playback stops.
The last track does not play.
