Can't connect to my streamer with Studio

I’m a user of the former version of Audirvana (Audirvana Mac Version 3.5.46 (3576))
I’m streaming easily from my mac to my DAC.

I’ve tried Audirvana Studio
Audirvana Mac Version 1.4.0 (10040)
macOS 10.14.6 with 32768MB RAM

But Studio refuses to select my DAC (though it can detect it).
When I try to select the DAC, it stays on Apple integrated out.

Connection to the DAC is through Ethernet+CPL.

Does anyone sees what I should do ?

Maybe??? choose in your sound drop down from upper bar your output as your sac.

Nope :frowning: not working either

Which DAC?
USB connected?
Maybe try a different USB port?

What happens if you try to select your dac as default output using the Mac Audio MIDI app?

DAC : Atoll ST200 connected through Ethernet.
As it’s not USB connected, I don’t see anything on the MAC Audio Midi App.

Got it. Does it show up in other dlna control points?
Audirvana dlna support is not always reliable.

It works perfectly with Audirvana ‘regular’ version.
It just doesn’t work with Audirvana studio.

Hello,
I have exactly the same issue with my Atoll ST200 streamer. It worked very fine with previous Audirvana version but can’t make it work with the Audirvana Studio. If connected in USB it works. Any idea why such a problem? Everything is Ethernet connected.
Many thanks a lot for your help,
Regards,
PE

Can you share the Debug info here?

It could be a firewall issue.

Thanks for your help!

So if I understand correctly, the Atoll is visible at the possible output devices. And you can also select it as preferred output. But the built-in output remains selected.

If you open the OSX console and then in Audirvana select the different outputs, can you see if there is a warning about why the streamer cannot be selected?

To avoid playback problems in general, I would lower the buffer setting quite a bit.

UPnP parse protocols error: unrecognized PCM. Received protocol info is:

Will do that thnaks

Does anything change if you enable the ‘do not use raw PCM’ option?

I don’t see where i can select this option:
My DAC input window is as such:

The Atoll streamer must be selected for this option to become available. But if it is not possible to temporarily select the Atoll, then it will not be possible to select the option .

Maybe someone else has an idea. Or else just wait for a response from Audirvana support on Monday. @Antoine
