Okaaaay! First Feedback. Keep up the work! I know releasing new software versions and beta-work is hard. I appreciate!

I marked all my feedback and suggestions in the photos attached.

Best, Matteo :call_me_hand:

When opening up the credits:

In the player-screen:

important (!!!): startup-bug! had some problems when starting up the Audirvāna server headless on Linux and connecting with the remote for the first time. I couldn’t accept the license agreement with the new iOS remote. Some kind of display bug. I couldn’t click the accept button. Nothing happened. So installed the old remote, accepted there. Reinstalled the new remote via TestFlight and everything worked from there on.

Technically speaking, beside the start up big with the license agreement, so far everything wents well! Keep you informed of any bugs I experience.

Specs: testing on Unraid inside a lxc container (amd64, Debian 12). Running the new Audirvāna Linux version 2.99.17.

Remote runs on iOS 26.2 on an iPhone 16.

Paused the playback on my fiio SR11. Wanted to play another track. Everything freezed. The audio device error came up. Could not click cancel. Nothing happened. Closing the remote app, keeps the error still coming up every time. Restarted the systemd service. This helped in the end.

Now it can’t find the fiio sr11 anymore. Strange things happening. Streaming with the latest Audirvāna linux headless stable to the fiio sr11 resulted in no problems at all. Same network environment etc.

Hi Antoine!
My first impression of the app under macOS 26.3 and iOS 26.3 is wonderful! Thank you very much for revamping the iOS app! God bless!

When I click on an album in the History series, a random track from History plays, but not a track from the album I clicked on.

I get slightly different behavior with the beta remote running the Linux beta. The correct track plays and all the correct information is displayed, except the wrong cover art (from the most recent album I played) is shown.

Hi @Antoine and Devs, Downloaded the iPad Remote first off and think it is pretty good so far. No major issues as yet mainly cosmetic which I have reported thru the Test Flight app.

Links in Mini Player to Credits of Album and Artists not working and the AUDIO Scan not working.

Will look at EQ later.

EQ working fine on Live changes. Switched between a number of preset Headphone EQ’s that i have set up in EQ.

Does this cover from a track in the play queue?

Are you playing a local track when it happened?

Yes, a track from the recently played tracks is played, but not the one that belongs to the album I clicked on.

Yes, for me it was the cover of the track I was playing just before the current one.

Ok, thanks, we will see what we can do about it.

Does not work on either Local or Streaming (Tidal).

Can you please send me a screenshot of where you click when you get this? I can’t reproduce this on my end.

I saw it during further testing. I reported this to our developer.

I set the language in the remote app to English. Yet, there‘s the ‚Credits‘ bar that still appears in German (Danksagung). Which is anyhow bad translation. Furthermore, the credits bar shouldn‘t be within the cover picture, but somewhere else.

Otherwise, the new remote app is so much better than the old one: finally the background can be set to light, and the progress bar works, oh wonder  !
