Google Play has removed the remote app?

Hi

Google Play has removed the remote app?

In addition to this, trying the app if it’s already downloaded and installed gives me a “Application not licensed: This application is not licensed. Please download it from the Google Play Store.” Error message and the only two options I have is to exit or go to the play store, but of course the latter doesn’t work

I got the same error; this is why I checked it on Google Play.

Hope they will fix it ASAP.

Same problem here. Very annoying as I have to test some USB cables which I cannot do now. Audirvana is playing a playlist, no way to remote control it now.

It is already posted in remote, but is a big time issue now when running Audirvana on Linux. No way to control the app now. Unlicensed error shuts everything down.
Can’t do a thing now. Hope this gets resolved real quick.
Thanks.

Bonjour,
Ce matin impossible d utiliser la remote audirvana sur Android. Impossible de la retrouver sur le play store. J’ utilise audirvana studio sur windows 11.

The same problem for me since this morning. Deleted the app trying to reinstall it and got information that Google Play does not have it now at all. :frowning:

There is indeed an issue with the Google Play Store at the moment.
We are working with Google to get it solved.

In the meantime, you can find the APK file to directly install the Remote App on your Android phone using the link form this article:

A friend of mine has a corporate smartphone and cannot load apk files. Please fix soon!

Still had the remote app on my phone and tablet, both didn’t work due to the ‘unlicensed’ error, with the only options ‘EXIT’ or ‘Go to the playstore’.

Downloaded the .apk from post 10 which stopped the ‘unlicensed’ error so I can operate Audirvana again.

Apparently there is a difference in the way this app checks things at startup.

Thanks @Damien for this intermediate solution.

Remote app saying Not Liscensed. I cant find it in the Playstore

I’m having that issue too. Search for “Audirvana” inside the play store and nothing comes up. I find it really bad design if the remote doesn’t work when there is nothing or the play store cannot be reached. The remote app should just looked at my licensed Audirvana server to continue into the remote program. Can someone check why the play store has nothing from Audirvana? And/or make a patch to 3.5

This is a known issue. Look in this thread:

Google Play has removed the remote app? - Audirvāna Remote App - Audirvana

New surprise today - audirvana remote don’t work. When trying to start a message comes up. “This application is not licensed” But it is.
Fails to connect to google playstore. Not in the android store at all.
What’s going on?

hi @svenzorn,

Please take a a look at the solution of this article.
