After installing Tahoe, I canā€™t output DSD (DoP) files to my Gustard X30 DAC, Audievana plays but no sound come through - but PCM files work fine. I have the lastest Origin update on a Mac Mini M1. Does anyone know how to fix that - or do we wait for Audirvana/Apple bug fixing?

Hello,
I updated my Mac mini to Mac OS Tahoe 26.0 and after that Audirvāna does not play music anymore besides 16/44,1khz.
I only stream from Qobuz and upto the most recent update all was well.

Is this problem already known and taken care of or??

Hi @Dolf, I hope so too.
It seems to be a problem in Tahoe that does not only affect Audirvana, but other players too. JRiver seems to have the same problem also and in the Roon forum I saw some posts popping up as well. I hope this bug gets fixed (by Apple or Audirvana).

Anyway, I will stop posting in this thread and watch the other one. Have a nice evening!

Thatā€™s interesting. Iā€™m having a different experience. Even 16-bit/44.1 kHz PCM FLAC plays with blippy distortion in my setup. Playback becomes normal only when I turn off Integer Mode.

I confirmed that the Audirvāna Origin 2.6.2.99 plays tracks with any resolutions nicely on my environment, with Exclusive Access and Integer Mode ON. Thank you.

The only regret is that Music Integrated Mode is still not compatible with Tahoe: never-ending quick start/stop keeps going, even with Exclusive Acceess and/or Integer Mode OFF.

EDIT: I could finally managed to make the Music Integrated Mode temporarily working, even with Exclusive Access and Integer Mode ON. But only one file: on next track the quick-start/stop starts again. Force-killing the coreaudiod process sometimes fix it, but not always.

Interestingly, I didnā€™t experience any issues after updating my Mac Mini M2.
DSD and FLAC files work normally.
Is this because Iā€™m upsampling the FLAC files to DXD?

I just wanna say that you just Make sure exclusive access and integer mode are turned on. I think by turning this your problem get solve.
