Interface hang / freeze

I recently purchased the Audirvana, and am experiencing a unresponsive user interface with only a few albums from HDTracks.com in it. I did have a larger library, but removed that from the settings section. I am sure that the DB cache or something is bad, but i cannot get into the settings section to do anything. Are there some CLI commands to flush the cache?

When i launch the program, i see the artist images for a few seconds, then it will change to a circle with a 50% line (almost like a progress bar) inside the circle.
