I don’t know, but it’s possible. There were few issues related to networking, network access, early on.
That said, I also run BigSur without issues.
i am running out of options of what might be wrong. my router is working well. everything seems OK but AS is stopping. I need AS ONLY for wireless connection since i can run Tidal with a cable already w/out any issues.
My Mac mini on Big Sur to Oppo205 via Ethernet was a no go, This prompted me to try Monterey beta. This fixed my upnp issues, Monterey is being released on Monday not sure if you can/want to give it a shot.

The issue you have is UPnP related. And as we are not able to reproduce the issue on our side without a Hegel device, you should contact them to ask them if they have the same issue on their side with WiFi and Big Sur.
We are not saying that at all, there are problems with UPnP device we can’t fix as they are related to the device UPnP implementation. The easiest way to fix it is to ask the manufacturer if they have the same issue on their side. They may tell you they don’t have the issue with a different software but you need to ask them to precisely reproduce the issue with the software you want to use.
well, you are giving me a runaround. I did contact Hegel. They are aware that there are issues with other Hegels and Audirvana as well. Their conclusion is that it is on your end. And I can confirm that: A works better in my setup than AS. AS stops every song in the middle of it. A goes for a few songs then stops at the end.

We had kind of the same conversation with a manufacturer and in the end it was an issue on their UPnP provider.

Thank you for your email. Please noted that there have been several reports of problems with Audirvana recently, so I presume that the problem might be there or in your network. We don’t have any issues reported with DLNA/UPnP Streaming and H590 running on later firmware versions.

Giving the response you had, we will need to contact them to get their software engineering team about those reports and if they are able to reproduce the issue on their side.
You need to also exclude that it’s not somehow related to your wifi setup.
thanks. but there is nothing wrong with our setup. We have 4 computers and TV running without any issues other than this one with Audirvana. I can’t prove a negative.
Could be, then it’s UPnP issue. It’s a bit weird that it works over Ethernet but it doesn’t over WiFi. Should work the same.
