What have you already tried?
You could set the maximum preload memory much lower. Start at 256 MB and build it up step by step.

I have moved the buffer up and down, disabled all background tasks except internet security and do no tasks except Audirvana, doubled the RAM from 8 to 16 gb, set the priority to “high” in Windows 10 task manager, removed and reinstalled Audirvana several times, tried with VST equalizer on and then off, MQA decoding disabled, upsampling disabled, 957 gb out of 1.81 tb is free on the hd–which is an up-to-date ss drive performing effectively and efficiently according its monitoring software. With the same computer, same dac and same receiver the malfunction does not happen with Qobuz Web Player or any of the three other audio players I have used.
