Qobuz Stream Stops after the first track but only for 24/192

Hello,
I have the above issue whenever I stream tracks in 24/192 now after the latest update.
After the first track it stops playing. Sometimes even the whole program is hanging and I have to restart.

This is not happening when I use my Libary .
I use the chord hugo1 dac that has no issue to handle this format.

No issue with the other formats.

Best Regards, Michael

I have the same issue with Qobuz. Music stops after the first song in DSD 512. Have to wait to play a different song as well. When I press on stop and try to play a song again, I get the well known “error starting device playback”. Have to reboot.

Bring the memory pre-load to 2000. Worked for me.

Same problem. I have a different thread describing my issues… waiting to hear back from someone about it. Changing memory pre-load didn’t change anything for me. Seems hi-res tracks, 96kHz and up, are the issue with Qobuz no matter what I’ve tried. Tidal works fine.

Hello,
Thank you for tip! This works!!

I also have the same problem with Hi-res streaming on Qobuz. The tracks stop a few seconds before the end. Then I can’t resume playback without pressing Stop and picking the next track. This is a new issue that only started after the latest update.

Bring the memory pre-load to 2000. I used this recommendation from jeanft and it works!

Hi friends, I have a similar problem since I downloaded the update to 3.5.45, I use Tidal. each song ends 1.2 … seconds earlier and does not automatically play other songs, but even if it moves to the next, it will not play it. I dealt with it on other fibers, but no answer yet.

Damien3, is it possible to solve this on our part?

Hello,

Same issue for me (PC Windows 10, Audirvana 3.5.45). Qobuz streaming (except in 16-44) randomly stops before the end of a track and doesn’t skip to the next one. Sometimes Audirvana freezes and I have to restart it. Please solve this problem quickly.

Hello,
same problem! (pc win 10 audirvana 3.5.45 DLNA Qobuz…) never problm befor.

Increased the memory preload to 2000, still the same issue. Increased it to 3000 and the issue disappeared but I think it hides a real problem with the memory management. Tested with the new Joe’s Garage Acts I, II & III in 24-192 on Qobuz.

Update: Audirvana stop at 8:20 on the last track “Sy Borg” (the longest) !

In my opinion Audirvana does not load the file when it reaches the end of the memory buffer.

Two pops are back in middle of play and switch to a different song!

Hello everyone, does the issue you have also appear when you disable upsampling or set it as “Power of 2”?

I just did some tests. At first, playback with a track at 24/96 (no upsampling) did NOT advance to the next track… well it did, it just didn’t play. Then same track with x2 upsampling played through with no problems. Then I went back to no upsampling and it went smooth as well.

However, with tracks played at 24/192 (no upsampling), it is not playing the next track. The name of the next track shows, but it does not play.

It happened last night with Tidal as well. First time I noticed that. I’ve gave up on Qobuz for a few days because anything at 96kHz was having issues.

Hope this helps. Debug info below if you need it.

Have you tried with ASIO instead of WASAPI?

I know I did that last week doing the initial trouble shooting… see my post that I started. Now, when I switch to ASIO my dac is not seen. And there is an “error starting device playback”. Even if I have the laptop speakers set at the output… it won’t even play.

But I know I tried ASIO in last week and it did not resolve the issue. No idea why it’s not recognizing the Chord now.

Hello,
I don´t use upsampling. I just tried a few tests. Today it worked for “Absolutely Free” and
"Speak like a child "for me. When I tried Bongo Fury it didn’t. I set to the “Power of 2” and nothing worked. Switched back to no upsampling and “Bongo Fury” worked.
With 24/96 I have no issues so far. I switched from Wasapi to Asio over the weekend as well.

Hello,
I have the same problem when I play tracks on Qobuz in 24 bit 96 KHz or 24 bit 192 KHz, since version 3.5.45.
I use ASIO but it’s the same with WASAPI.
I don’t use upsampling

Hello again,

just streamed Bongo Fury again and also Weasels ripped my flesh from Zappa via qobuz., same issue again. It is strange that it worked this morning but not now at 18:45.
