Disappointly, I must agree.
Reactived my 3.5 license, updated to 3.5.46 (now running macOS 11.4), and unfortunately no joy with upnp. Looks like that latest fix has not corrected the issue.
Also, the same issue still exists on AS 1.2.
There must be some setting in Audirvana that’s causing a problem.
No change in settings in 3.5.44 and left the same setting in 3.5.46.
The only change was the upgrade from macOS 11.3 to 11.3.1 afterwhich DLNA stopped working. Upgrade to 11.4 remained the same. (using DLNA with others apps and macOS 11.3.1 still working)
I mean there’s some setting in Audirvana that must be problematic with respect to the latest Big Sur versions. It’s not the underlying Audirvana program itself, because I can stream with no issues on 11.4.

Tried to swtich off the firewall as well, but unfortunately still no joy. Press play, track loads fully, but does not start. Deleted and readded AS as well as AV under accessibilty (under Privcay and Security), but unfortunately no impact

We won’t be able to see anything in that output. It just gives the settings for Audirvana and the settings for receiver device. Audirvana connects to the device no problem. The problem is the actual music file it sends to it. There’s something wrong with the format or syntax that the receiving device doesn’t like. We have no way of knowing what that problem is unless we can see what Audirvana is sending. I’m not sure how to do that or if it’s even possible without debugging Audirvana on a dev machine.
The firewall is not the issue - if it was, Audirvana wouldn’t connect to your device to begin with.
First disable upsampling, turn it off, restart your thing and see.

Chgd settings (only diff is that my DAC does not decode DSD), rebooted all devices after changes (mac mini and pre/DAC) but unfortunately no joy. WIll have to wait for Damien to debug issues for us
Will have to stick to USB output for now.
There is a problem with the format or syntax of the file Audirvana is sending. It’s not settings dependent.

Unfortunately the UPNP issue has not been resolved in this issue, and still persists in 3.5.46

As a further test, I installed the trial version of AS onto my windows laptop. This done to eliminate the issue of whether the DLNA implementation in the Classe Preamp is an issue.
Tested UPNP connection to my Preamp using DLNA - and all works from Windows 10.
So clearly the issue is between Audirvana and latest macOS versions.
Further testing reveals the following:
macOS 11.4 - Streaming of Radio to UPNP works
- Streaming from Tidal via UPNP NOT working
Windows 10 - Streaming of Radio and Tidal working
So, for my setup it is isolated to Tidal and local file streaming via UPNP which is not working
UPnP works OK on my 11.4 MacBook Pro M1 to a raspberry Pi running Volumio.
So, after further diagnosis
Local files (from a NAS) on 3.5.46 play, but only white noise when upsampling is activated. Local track does not start at all when upsampling is deactivated.
Not sure if this will give any clues as to where the issue / conflict in the software sits.
Still no joy with UPNP after updating to AS V1.4
Will this be resolved in the next update?

Upgraded to AS 1.4.5 - UPNP still not fixed
Is this on this list of bugs to be fixed ? Comment was made by @Antoine that AS and 3.4.44 at the time had not been tested with macos 11.3
