:police_car_light: We’re thrilled to announce the start of our public beta for the Audirvāna Remote app on Android, effective 2026-01-20T23:00:00Z !

The iOS version will come very soon!

:new_button: What’s New?

This update introduces exciting new features and significant improvements, including:

  • New User Interface
  • IP Connection to Your Computer
  • Smart Playlist Creation
  • Real-time Equalizer

During this beta period, we will continuously add features and enhance the app. Updates will be posted in the Release Notes category.

To track new posts, click the bell icon :bell: and select “Watching” for notifications.

You can also adjust your profile settings by clicking on “beta” tag, then the bell icon :bell: to receive updates.

:red_exclamation_mark: Part of the Remote has not been changed yet, like the Settings or Metadata editor, but it will during the Beta.

:test_tube: What Should You Test?

With the completely redesigned UI, we highly value your feedback on your overall experience.

A key feature to try will be the Real-time Equalizer. Please let us know if you encounter any issues while making adjustments.

To Activate the Equalizer:

1. Go to the Settings in the Remote app under the Processing section.

  1. Enable “Realtime control” (not available for DSD and UPNP playback)

2. Play a track, tap the three-button icon, and select Processing to view the equalizer in real-time.

:red_exclamation_mark: Here are the minimum requirements to use the Beta version properly:

Audirvāna Studio v3 beta: 2.99.15

Audirvāna Studio: 2.11.4 (2.11.5 if you are on macOS)

Audirvāna Origin: 2.6.2 (2.6.4 if you are on macOS)

How to Get Started with the Beta?

Android:

1. Join the Beta:

- Click the link on your device or go to the Audirvāna Remote page on the Google Play Store:

From your Android device

From the Web

2. Download or Update the App:

- Open the Google Play Store, search for Audirvāna Remote, and tap Update or Install.

3. Test the App:

- Once installed, open the app and start using it.

4. Provide Feedback:

- Share your insights directly in this thread.

How to Revert to the Previous Version?

Android:

1. Open the Google Play Store, search for Audirvāna Remote.

2. Scroll to the Join the beta section and select Leave; confirm your choice.

3. Uninstall the beta version, then search for Audirvāna Remote in the Google Play Store and tap Install.

How to Provide Feedback for the Beta?

You can respond to this thread to share your feedback. Please include:

  • Operating System Type (iOS/Android)
  • Version of the software used
  • Operating System Version
  • Screen Size

Impossible de charger la version BETA à la place de la normale (Android)…

Avez-vous bien été ajouté au bêta-test ? Si c’est le cas, pouvez-vous déinstaller la version normale puis essayer d’installer la bêta ?

-Désinstaller la version. normale : fait (je pensais que la maj était forcée mais non)

-Install la version BETA : fait

On peut voir à quel endroit la version dans la BETA ?

En allant sur la fiche du Google Play Store, la mention (bêta) doit être ajoutée à la fin du nom de l’application, la verison se trouve dans la partie Nouveautés:

J’ai fait une maj dans Google Play Store et c’est ok maintenant pour les onglets

Il y a une Rubrique “Historique” :slight_smile:

Par contre j’ai trois fois la rubrique “Radios”

Nota : cela semble dépendre de la page précédente, par ex si je reviens à l’accueil depuis une page d’un artiste ou d’un album l’affichage est correct (Historique/Local/Qobuz/Sélectionné pour vous/Radios/Podcasts par contre si je reviens d’une autre page par ex réglages ou recherche les rubriques affichées ne sont pas bonnes (cd capture écran)

Très intéressant, dans Audirvāna Studio vous n’avez pas du tout ce problème?

Non dans AS il y a juste la largeur écran qui bug si je clique par ex sur Local > CD

Installed on Samsung Tablet A8 (SM-X200) 10” screen, running Android 14 and a Pixel 7a phone running Android 16. Running Origin 2.6.3 on Windows 11 PC

The start up is much better than the standard version! Thank you!!!

Tried the equalizer function. Got thru step 1, but had to also enable VST. This allowed the button for realtime control to show up. However, when I tap the three-button icon “Processing” doesn’t show up. Is the equalizer not available on Origin still? Same behaviour on Samsung and Pixel.

So far on the UI, the History row is a useful addition. Still bugs to be worked out on it:

  • when a track from history is played and the previous track button pushed on the grey bar at the bottom, it plays a random track and then closes the app when performed on Samsung.
  • when a track from history is played and the next track button is pushed, a random track is played and the app may or may not close on Samsung. One time a message from the tablet asked if the cache should be cleared
  • On Pixel there is no previous track or next track button, only pause. Clicking on the bar at the bottom switches to a random track
  • when a track from history is played and the grey bar at the bottom is pressed, the album cover for the track shows up large but the album covers behind it are random. A swipe right will play the track represented by the random cover. Same for Samsung and Pixel

On the Samsung notification shows up. On Pixel it does not.

It’s not available in Audirvāna Origin.

Are you in portrait or landscape mode when you get this?

I see we have not been able to properly identify this issue on our end. Are you able to reproduce this consistently?

Do you have shuffle enabled when you get this?

Pas un bug mais une suggestion : mettre les textes description et bio en “text-align: justify” ca serait plus lisible je pense
